How much do you want to harvest in dry weight?
I think I'll be sticking with cuttings from now on for the same reason. I hate spending months looking after a plant to find out it's a useless male. It's a lot easier knowing it's a female from the start.

I'm not looking for like a lb or anything. I'm only growing one or two plants. Mostly this is a learning experience for me. Dont get me wrong though, I totally want some dank buds and that is why I'm actually spending some time on this and using a 400 watt hps soon.

To early to tell but if I had to pick I'd say female. The shape of one of the pre-flowers and the fact that they are not on a little stem like most male flowers. (Still way early to tell for sure though).

Looks like a male to me, I'd say about 90% sure. Usually by the time my female preflowers are that defined there will be pistils coming out of them.

i wouldn't say males are useless, I made 2 batchs of cannabutter last week , enough for 4 batchs of brownies, out of 7 males that has just started showing balls, the brownies i made were potent shit, a 2 and a half inch square got me high like all day and i loved it!, especially for going to sleep as they were an extremely potent indica strain with a heavy couchlock effect

Its okay man! This should just encourage start more seeds so you can grow more plants so your rate will be on the female side as well. Or you should just find some fem cuttings from somewhere.

lol yea in the middle of Iowa... I don't think that's going to happen.
Males are just part of the deal if you are using seed stock (with fem as the exception)... That's why you started 3 and not just one. I've been very lucky before, 24/24 fems, but I've also been plagued with males before, about 20/30 recently were males.
