So the 400w is kickin the mh right now
wow thats hot without a tent and vent
so i got 2 nice digital temp gauges and its reading steady at 86
that too hot?
im goin have to switch to cfls at night so i can sleep .. i have to put a tarp over the closet and if i cut that air off im sure its goin goto over 90

If 86 is the temperature of the top of the plants, yeah it's a little bit hot.
80-84 would be okey
If you don't have money to upgrade your grow, just get a computer fan and hang it in the reflector facing the light, it should lower the temps a little bit.

If im not mistaken you should lightproof your box, and you should get a fan so your plants dont fry. Plus they need air flow not only to cool but to supply it with more CO2

Ya i got a 4x4x7 comin friday.. im goin get the exhuast fan on them and the duct work to get ihe heat out of the tent...
i do have a fan blowin on them now and they really loved the transplant to ocean forest so hopefully theyll be alright till friday there only gettin the 400w durin the day anyhow

one is 81 and the other is 82.0

Ya my grow room is in the basement and we dont heat our basement so I let the light heat the room and it gets to about 77ยบ, but in the night period it drops to like the low 60s. I dunno, my 2 cents
