I'm going to go to popeye's i think.  I have cut out soda from my life now.  well today is day one.  i would like to have a soda now.  or a coke or w/e you want to call it.  I like the red beans and rice at popeyes and the spicy honey mustard with chicken strips.  shrimp is good too.  there's too many choices.  i gotta go.

I ate chicken wraps, consisting of Chi-Chi's soft tortillas,Tyson crispy buffalo chicken breast, and lettuce, topped with some creamy caesar and rooster sauce. Good stuff.

I want to make a baked chicken parmesan on rotini pasta..

Anyone got some tips for baking it?

I normally don't bake.
I start by boiling the pasta while dipping the chicken in beaten egg then rolling that around in bread crubs.
While the pasta's boiling I fry the breaded chicken.
Once pasta's done I put sauce on teh strained pasta and drop the breaded chicken on top.

I want to bake it tonight though, I think it'll taste better. :crazy2:

:rofl: just realized that I bought mozzarella instead of parm, oh well, it'll still taste good I'm sure.

I have that parmesan sprinkle stuff too :shrug:

I would suggest browning the chicken in the frying pan then finishing in the oven, other wise you end up with an overly browned surface by the time the middle is cooked. Stick the chicken in the oven about 350 for 20-25 minutes, pull it out cut into one, make sure its done. Then add your Mozzarella or cheese of choice ( I do mozz and parm as the parm browns more than melts) stick it back in the oven under the broiler and watch closely for 2-3 minutes, pull it out when it's melted/browned to your liking.

You could also put the chicken on top of the pasta and cheese the whole thing before you broil, get everything nice and melty.

Thanks for the advise, I wound up starting it on the pan then throwing it all together in that dish and baking for like 20 minutes.

Was OMG so delicious, I got leftovers for tomorrow :grin:
