hello everybody, long time reader, first time poster. (i always wanted to say that)

I'm looking to buy a few 600 watt dig with 6inch cool hoods. i've been looking and this is what ive found. i'm looking for best value. price dont matter that much, but i dont want to over pay.

You can find whole kits, including ballast (digital), bulbs (HPS and MH), air-cooled hoods/reflectors, digital timers, and light hangers, all for the same range you are looking to spend.

Try Ebay. If you have paypal, it might just be the best deal money can buy.

ive got that same RFV set up at 400watts (2 of em) and they perform very very well.  So i'd recommend that.  u cant go wrong with a 600 set up.

i found this one with a lumatek ballast for about the same price as that one

so are the ones with the lumatek or galaxy ballasts worth the xtra 70 or so dollars, than this one with the quantum ballast.
