It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like just some of the older fan leaves are dying.
I'd be pulling off any fan leaves that stop light from penetrating through.

well on my plants it seems to be random, some shoot fan leaves have it and some main fans have it but very few maybe 5-10% of all fans/shootfans. its happening really slow, the spots become more numerous till its all yellow and the leaf can be picked off gently, the juice smells somewhat sweet and bitter not sour so its not rot. i know its not bugs.
my ms paint picture is not far off, except the spots are more dark and greyer and they are smaller and MORE numerous.
cant really see your pic well to tell or compare..
i saw here a thread that included many pictures with descriptions of the problems and symtoms along with treatments, it was very extensive but as usual the search engine fails to find it with any combination of wording.. but could a mod or someone who knows that thread please post a link to it ty =]
