Yes. But you should know what you're doing before you venture into doing so.
FIM can cause more damage than good if you aren't experienced.

and make sure you give it time to recover from the fimming before you flower. don't switch the lighting over and then go around chopping all the growth points.

there's no issues in mixing topping/fimming with LST methods. However it is a bit contradictory as the purpose of LST is to increase budsites without losing any.
