I also hate people who make false assumptions and are too quick to judge people. There is no reason to hate on someone for their faith, because that leads to hate crimes.

No that is completely wrong, what you would want to say is that you hate an organized religion which portrays negative attitudes and brainwashes people. The connotation of brainwash suggests that the people have no choice and are victims in the scenario. Hating PEOPLE for their beliefs is intolerant.

Actually if they are one of the leaders of that brainwashing cult, cough cough Scientology, I am completely able to hate them for brainwashing their own worshipers. Hating people for their beliefs is what the human race has been doing since the dawn of religion. Human beings by nature are aggressive destructive people, why else would we of created religion and politics?

I am fairly sure no one ever tried to convince you to move to an island...
And being pissed at Jehovahs for example for going to door to door is understandable because they are inconveniencing you, but that is something a lot different than hating them for being Jehovahs.

Well most religions believe everyone not within their religion is not exactly going to heaven, since the purpose of most belief systems are to ensure a trip to Heaven, Brahman, Nirvana, Valhalla, etc... While not all of them particularly damn those not within their religion, they keep them out of the place to be desired.

That is the point I am making, almost anyone in any religion you are not part of is going to hell, not passing on to another plane of existence is the equivalent of damning someone to hell just not really damning in the exact tense. I was just stating that you hating people that damn you to hell, means you hate almost every religious person in the world.
Also there is a reason Debaters never debate religion, there are so many differing opinions that the extemporaneous knowledge that someone could have on a subject could be unfair to a nonreligious opponent.

Speculating? I am stating facts from other religions, I know what other religions believe since I am studying theology. I really don't see much speculating, I am quite certain on my facts and I am not arguing on any unstable ground since to do so I would have to be arguing on opinions of a religion, but since these are all facts that I have brought up, I am pretty sure I am safe via the though of pure speculation.
And I was not wrong in my use of the word hate.
Hate: the emotion of intense dislike; a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action.
Oh and on the question of why I would hate someone just because of differing dogma, their truth is opposed to mine. Meaning to them everything I believe is a lie.

Also for the record, just to prove that none of you were reading and responding properly to the topic at hand, the argument wasn't over religion, it was whether or not we should hate people based on their belief system. And if you all still believe that it is alright to hate someone for what they believe, I can safely say you are wrong. So what, conflict may drive society, you may not like what church someone goes to, but that is certainly no grounds to hate them as a person.
As for rap and hip hip, I never listened to it, but now I do because of my significant other. My list of acceptable hip hip rap groups are:
Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, Wu-Tang, maybe some others....
AND Three Six Mafia just for the novelty of weed smoking songs.

well im not sayin some rappers dont have talent.....i just cant take it.....i get mad and kick my friends out of my house because they star playing rap....ive always hated it for some reason........alot of the newer stuff is even worse it isnt even music its a bunch of beeps and clicks made by a computer and a rapper that doesnt even rhyme......i prefer the musical standpoint the tune to be complex.......not saying i dont like the lyrical point of either......i just prefer people playing instruments along with soothing music that isnt talking about smokin crack, killing people, or raping people .........just my opinion of course

I mean as a kid my parents raised me listening to guitarists like Hendrix, Dimebag, Rhoads, Iommi, and Zakk Wylde. lol dude I would say (the Beatles, pink floyd, wu-tang clan, the brian jonestown massacre, nirvana, the roots, sublime, the doors, radiohead) are or were all musically talented out the ass and even though dimebag and zakk could play fast and accurately doesnt mean they are good musicians by any means. Now Hendrix yea he could play, and was good at it. But I fuckin hate Zakk Wyldes false harmonics it seems to me that all he can do is play false harmonics.........and yes I used to listen to all that stuff before I realized that they werent very good.

Dimebag was one of the greatest guitarists of all time. His pinch harmonics, shredding skills, and whammy bar technique made him stand out of any lineup. I really don't know how you can say he wasn't a good musician.

Look I feel bad that he got shot on stage, but that doesnt make him the greatest guitar player of all time......there are probably a million guitarists better than he was. I used to like metal and I have listened to pantera and zakk for years but I just dont find them as good as bands like The Black Keys or The White Stripes or The Flaming Lips.

Well I just enjoy the guitar being the driving force that makes the song hit home. Yes lyrics are great, in fact a song is not even worth listening to if it doesn't have good lyrics in my opinion, but the guitarist structuring his riffs/solos/bridges perfectly with the emotion/message of the song and still making it sound so aggressive is what drives a guitarist to perfection in my opinion. But then again everything I say is opinion and you cant prove me wrong, nor can I you, but really my guitar is practically crying in the corner.
