Any publicity is good publicity...people are seeing this, and the reporters are making this a serious issue; not one you can just laugh at when it is brought up.
Notice how they continue to reiterate the questions time after time; he's right, he lost control of the press, because he is not answering the question at the heart of the matter, and sooner or later somebody is going to have to do so.
I think its encouraging to see this kind of dialogue.
