 I Can't Pay My Bills

I don't know what to do. My Electricity bill is almost 3 months behind, they stopped giving me extension's. Rent is due a week from now and i dont even have 1/4 of the money. My landlord and I have had some problems with rent lately so he will not be very understanding. I havn't worked for almost a month because, well there is no work, my boss hasnt called me. I do construction and am waiting for a big job I was supposed to do to land.
I live with my lady and her daughter and I dont know what the F*ck to tell her.
And i don't think I can even get the school loan i was trying to get because I dropped my classes over a year ago and now had to do a standard academic letter of appeal. They said they are very strict and only grant appeals for medical or legal emergencies, mine was neither. That 15,000-20,000 loan would have helped me out a lot.
Oh yeah and I have bad credit too so i can't ask for a private loan from the bank....
It's Christmas Eve and I'm just sitting here by myself in my house sad as hell. I told my lady to go on without me to her families house that I had to do somethings, but quite honestly all i have to do is bask here alone in my financial depression and wonder what the hell is going to happen to us once it's time to pay the bills.
I fucking hate Babylon system, I really hope their is a quantum leap of human metaphysical evolution in 2012 as the Mayans and many other civilizations have predicted. Capitalism gives birth to suicide. How we depend on our bio-survival tickets(money).
This type of shit im going through just makes you want to go crawl under a rock and die.:(

Im gonna go apply at a few places this week, i don't care what even if i have to work at a gas station or restaurant for $8.00 dollars an hour.

Does anyone know of any good ways to make some quick money or any ways to get small bank loans. My girl has a little credit, not the best, would it be possible to get let's say, a 5,000-10,000 dollar loan through her bank. I hear the banks are not really giving shit out.
Any ideas at all. Nothing juvenile either. If I owned my house id have much better luck at getting a loan. I really need to find a way to get my hands on some quick cash in order to stabalize things off until I get work.

a lot of folks are having hard times. My job, i see it everyday. I deal with people who have lost their jobs, lost their businesses, waiting for people to pay them.. its rough for a lot of folks, your situation is the same.

What part / state of the country do you live in?

It is time to start thinking about selling dr00gz, nothing major; just enough to squeeze you by. look on craigslist for random general labor stuff;
A Funny thing that may or may not be true for your state but is for mine in florida, to be licensed contractor you can get a pressure washing permit and be legit to rebuild /remodel homes.
I made $75 in a day moving stuff when I needed cash. If you can fix cars, setup thins on craigslist to offer services @ a low low price. A lot of places you can apply online too.

no treasuretrooper really does pay you I have received checks from the mail but its sometimes so much work its not worth it. But yes it does work.

You haven't already and you have not done any work in the past month knowing the economy is down and everyone is having to try harder? 3 months behind and not worked at all in the past month? Not even tried to find some work even if it is not what you want but will help you keep going until you can find or earn your way to better? Is that what you are saying?

im in a bad situation too. but without dependants.
it'll pull through. just think long term even when your living short.
good luck finding a job.
also mention to every person you know that could help that you are looking for work.
i can't stress enough how bad it is to shut down and keep to yourself when your broke.
you aren't gonna make any flow staying alone.
also even though especially tempting in these times stay away from the drink. try to only drink when your happy.

Dude. Sorry to hear this.
Do not let the situation cripple you. It's too easy to look at the mess you're in and do nothing. That'll kill you for sure.
First up you can call your town or county trustees office and tell them the situation. Many times they can help you with some cash but it's usually a one-time deal. Also talk to area churches. I don't know what your opinion on religion is but usually, they will want to meet you, and then, they will go pay the electric bill.
That may help with your immediate problems and give you a bit of breathing room.
Then I'd plan on driving, walking.... whatever you gotta do, to every single business in town and ask to apply for a job.
Consider creating your own job. For instance, go to local businesses and offer to clean their offices. Most cleaning services charge $15-20 per man hour of cleaning. You can start a business like this with the crap you already have under your sink for cleaning your own house.
Banks with foreclosed properties often need handymen to do odd jobs to get the properties ready to sell... call every bank that offers mortgages, and ask if they can keep you in mind.

Wow guys thanks for all the support and help, I didnt expect this.
Well I spoke to my boss and he said that that job is definately going to to hit any minute now. They are just waiting for the bank to approve the loan on the house. Supposedly it should happen because this particular house has been completely paid off and thus easier to get a loan. Hopefully if that happens I can ask for some money upfront.
Me and my lady have been sharing one car for the last few months so that makes things a bit harder.
I think I now know what I have to do to survive....
Anyways Christmas was cool, I was able to hustle a few bucks to get a present for the lady and daughter, no one else though. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
