Recovery times
    #153133 - 11/29/08 01:12 PM (15 years, 4 months ago)

How would you describe recovery times in your experiences?

Say, you begin to notice a deficiency, and attempt to treat it. Assume theoretically that you did solve it's deficiency problems and how quickly would you expect turn around time to be?

a few hours?

a few days?

two weeks?

In what system would your experiences be with? soil? hydro?

Whats the most common sign of pH irregularity ?

In my experience with hydro, if treated soon enough, most deficiency symptoms can be cleared up in one or two days at most. Soil can take a bit longer maybe two to four days for all but the worst damage.

Ph issues are usually hard to diagnose in my opinion. They can show all sorts of signs and symptoms, many of which are exactly the same as other problems such as deficiency or toxicity. When trying to diagnose a disorder, I often check Ph first to rule it out or fix it, then hunt for the culprit.

agreed because at certain ph's the plant is unable to absorb nutrients in varying degrees . . . .
