Im about to grow and I want to go big and not waste my time with all this low level weed stains. I want to do it right.

SO what is the highest level of THC plant out there?

Having a strain with the highest level of THC would be a plus but it doesnt mean shit if you don't know what your doing.  If you grow it shitty the fact that is has the highest percentage won't mean very much.  I'd answer your questions but I'd have to google them and thats what you should of done before you asked this question:crazy2:

The highest tested (so far) came from a sample of white rhino. Only problem is not every strain has been tested.

I don't see how it is a vague question. If he was only interested in the strain with the highest percentage of THC of only sativa-dominant plants, then I'm sure this would have been mentioned. Since he didn't, I would assume that he is speaking about any strain at all. The fact that he didn't specify doesn't really make it a vague question.

also, remember that there is a huge difference between the strain with the most THC production potential and the strain that you'll love to smoke. People have different reactions to different doses of THC. The other cannabinoids and terpenes in the cannabis also modify the psychoactive effects of the THC. Simply having the most THC doesn't equal a great and enjoyable smoke. I think most people would advocate trying at least a few strains to find a proper balance between THC content and enjoyment.

It doesnt have the highest THC content there is but if I were able to order seeds and could grow Jack Herer would def be #1 on my list. The high is awesome mostly sativa keeps you stoned for hours and hours and the buds are so sticky and smell ridiculously potent.

Most of the "white" strains have around 20% thc, thats probably 5x as much as even the dankest of homegrown bud that you buy, just go for whichever one will grow best in your environment and you wont be disappointed

I was just askin a question to ppl who really know there stuff and have had past history in growing great strains. I didnt want to use google bc most shit is not true there, since pot is not a test area. I wanted real life answers.

Hitting the nail on the head. I've grown out white rhino and it was killer but seem to be to be very typical. I myself like the Purple Kush (very fond of), Grape Apes, Urkles, Sour Diesel (very fond of) but I have no idea if these are the most potent strains they just have a lot of everything I like.
Always good to have more then one strain going also. One with a more up high and one with a indica kick. Good example of two that could grow together would be Durban Poison which is a fast flowering pure sativa from South Africa and Afghani for smoking at night.

I don't which is highest, but when mandala was still selling seeds regularly breeder mike said he tested one of his strains(don't remember which one white satin, or speed queen I'm just guessing though) and it was 28% THC

I like BHO (Butane Honey Oil). I myself don't notice one BHO from another BHO. Am I alone? I would only smoke BHO if I could, On a large scale i would use Hexane not Butane because of co$t of solvents. In my personal case would I seek a strain known for having the highest THC yields?

Mandala is great stuff, growing their White Satin right now.... Only trouble with Satori is that Mandala isn't operating until the beginning of next year, due to health concerns.... Hopefully things go all right and they'll be back in business by then. :smile:

Basically it doesn't matter a lot of the stronger/newer varities will be around or higher than 18%-20% and even if say something tests super high like satori @ 28% the seeds you get may not produce weed stronger than 20%.

Theres also other shit in weed that fucks you up other than THC like in White Rhino/Medicine Man theres high amounts of CBD (I think? Lol) which gives you that heavy stone where you just sit and laugh for hours.

He is exactly right, strains does matter in THC percentage, but if you arent giving it the right stuff, it wont make a difference between good seeds and bag seeds

you dont lose anything, it is a fair argument, some cases the good seeds will pull through, in other cases, the shitty weed will get exactly what it needed to be decent, but the grower has to matter in quality cause quality is more than just growing it, drying and curing and flushing come into play

A good grower can't make bad genetics into good weed period. A bad grower can make good genetics into bad weed though. If you know somebody that grew decent weed from shitty seeds it's cause the weed he got it from was grown bad to begin with.

Probably a resin stain. Sometimes I get them on my shirt.
