Ahh man, that probably wasn't the best idea. It would be much better to build two reflectors to hold two CFL's each (or another reflector to hold four more ). The weak point of CFL's is that the intensity of their light degrades pretty rapidly after a few inches of distance from the plants you are lighting. Having two reflectors instead of one would help distribute light to cover the area much more effectively.
