 help! cleaning up trim oil

So I recently acquired 5lB of trim. Ran 2 gallons of acetone throught it after making dry ice bubble hash. Winterized it with -70c acetone and dropped a ton of cap out.
Only issue is that I picked up a ton of chlorophyll along the way. Planned on doing a hexane/saline clean-up but I can't find bestine or naptha for the life of me.
In Los Angeles county if that helps, would love to find a place to purchase an appropriate solvent.

Naptha would be your best bet for minimal chlorophyll. But it has been banned in California. You could take Trip to Vegas and find a supplier. I have seen a 55 gallon drum go for 500.

While its still in your solution, pass it through charcoal. Works incredibly well. Anything green will be amber after a pass or two.

Haha well your problem is you used frickin paint stripper as your solvent of choice...butane hell even ethanol would have been a superior extraction...sorry but its crap like this that pollutes mmj. I understand acetone evaporates almost entirely but nope that's just nasty folks. Naptha acetone what r u making methamphetamine

Dry ice hash none the less PSH pfft and ha...dry ice is only good if u use dank nuggs fkn trim haha trust me people

Acetone is actually quite safe, distilling it isn't exactly rocket science. In fact acetone is actually safer than ethanol and obviously butane. The latter being proven carcinogens and neurotoxic.
Dry ice hash with good buds? Never tried it, everything I've read recommends against it. Any links to posts about your experiments with that method? Would love to read them.
Thanks for all of the suggestions, still just chilling with this oil until I order solvent online. California is so strict on everything!

Ummm, not too sure what you are talking about, but acetone is safe to consume in small amounts (otherwise you would be dead since your body naturally produces it) and is pretty much the lightest solvent you can use. Misinformation gives the mmj a bad name. It just takes a little finesse to use it properly.
As far as the chlorophyll, acetone works best with a very quick wash. It is also best if you use the dry ice to chill the acetone before using it, and it must also be anhydrous. Everything should be super dry and frozen. I prefer to use acetone as a solvent, but works better for buds than trim. IMO, I wouldn't waste good buds making dry ice hash. Maybe you should save your trim and do a run of ice water hash. Press the full melt and refine the lower quality stuff with ethanol.

Before you get to speaking smack...acetone is definately poison dipshit in trace amounts your body converts certain toxins to it go ahead drink acetone dipstick tell me about non toxicity just be cut it evaporates to nothing doesn't meant trapped residual acetone isn't toxic ....dipschtick

You rather get your panties ruffled than get your facts strait? Your same exact argument can be said about butane. Would you drink butane? Clearly you have no understanding of what you speak. I'm trying to give the OP different options that doesn't involve being a trendy prick.
