So i'll be out of town next week for 9 days. Anyone habe any ideas on how I can feed them when im gone? I was just thinking of putting some nutrient rich soil on top.

If your using drippers to water when you're gone put a small pile of bat guano under the dripper.

You could use almost anything in the tank, maybe a tea of some sort?

Food spikes. Just poke a narrow hole or 2 or 3 to the bottom of the planter and put some food in them.

It's soil, and it's only 9 days. Not like the soil is just gonna not have any nutrients in it they will just be at a lower level but 9 days isn't enough time for the plant to starve to death. Just give it a good feeding when you get back.

How much guano should I use for 5 and 10 gallon pots?

That's what I was thinking...9 days without food is nothing for soil unless your at the beginning stages of flowering. Even then it would probably be fine.
