peroxide organic

At a certain dilution can peroxide be beneficial for microbial life? The last couple bubbles I've done I've added a quarter tsp of 3% unstabilized peroxide to two gallons. Microbes shouldn't be harmed at this extreme right? Is it at all beneficial?

Well it loses the extra oxygen molecule pretty quickly.  So not much benefit....

Thank you for the quick response.

If only I knew the magic sweet spot for most benefit and no death. Is it not really worth the trouble in organics?

What are you trying to get out of it?

Wow, uh, it doesn't really work like that man.

So when you see it bubbling as you apply it to a wound, it's actively killing healthy living cells.  It's not exactly a good thing to be putting in your hydro system.

I know that it can be applied in certain doses for some ailments, but shouldn't be a regular thing.

by bubblies I mean adding extra oxygen. I just figured that since we are oxygenating our microbes with air bubbles prior to watering that perhaps they could benefit from a little extra. I had thought maybe the roots could benefit from some extra oxygen as well but I guess since the peroxide breaks down pretty quickly that isn't happening. How long does it take for the h2o2 to turn back into h2o once you add it to a solution?

I know that it kills everything but isn't there a dilution rate that isn't harmful and only beneficial to microbes and roots?

Not sure, but it would be better to just add another air pump.

Your right, the more I think about it the more that it seems like those little bits of extra oxygen molecules are probably insignificant compared to the constant flow of bubbles. Unless the peroxide is able to stay in the water for a bit of time after the bubbling is finished.
