okay so next year I am leaving March 10-15 to thru hike the Appalachian trail. Now I want to grow some weed while im gone in the wild. This year i found a great spot with plenty of sunlight and security. I grew an indica strain this year, however, next year while I am gone I want to grow a mostly sativa strain. I was thinking of starting indoors 4 sativas in the begginning of Feburary, and then moving them outdoors the day before I go. They should be big enough at this point to survive in the wild. I dont have to worry about deers thank Buddha. Obviously, I want a strain that is good enough to grow unsupervised during my trek. Any ideas? I prefer indica style weed. Do you think I get get out with an Indica? I am going to be back by August 20th because fall semester starts at that time.
Well, I'm not an expert by any means, but I would suggest using feminized seeds if you want a guerrila grow. Would suck if you came back after all that time, expecting awesome funky nuggets just to find your plants pollinated and seedy [aka total bullshit waste of time"] Just my opinion. I would say since you'll be growing outside, if it is a sativa strain [they are phenomenal outdoor plants, at least my recent try at growing was great], make sure you have the time for it to completely flower naturally, seeing as how you won't be around.
