I bought some 125 proof "straight from the still new make whiskey" for my camping trip and nobody really drank it. I just got it for the novelty because they didn't have 151 
So I bought a 2.5 liter jug of apple juice and just boiled it up with some fresh apples and sugar and cinnamon sticks. Dumped in some of that liquor until I could taste it a touch and put it in some jars.
I only drank about a teaspoon of the stuff, but I can tell I have some liquor in me. It doesn't taste nearly as good without the cider but I couldn't find any.
Gonna be funny when I show up at the party tomorrow night with jars of liquor

I've seen people sell that at festivals. Tastes good. Not really shine in your case, but I am sure it does the job.

Yeah 
I've had it made with true shine. I've always wanted to, I'm just scared of the blindness. I know how to not go blind (the foreshots and shit) but I dunno. It just makes me nervous.

Yea well proper shine will be mostly ethanol so no blindness. Ethanol and methanol smell different as well so if you are familiar with the smells that helps.
Can never trust people though. Especially when they sell spiced liquor because it masks it a bit.

Well, I'm 3/4 the way down this jar and I can tell its pretty strong. Kinda can't feel my toes
Its gonna be a hit at the party. It tastes like fuckin candy. Mix this shit with a few brews in between and you'll catch a real nice buzz. Sweeeeeeeeeet.

Yeah, I've had it before. Not too bad, doesn't get you as fucked up as the clear shit though.

Apple pie is fucking dank, I've made it once and it tastes fucking good. I really need to make some more shine soon though.
