I'm considering building some organic soil to run against my coco to see how much of a difference there is in yield/efficiency (less veg time needed in coco) and to compare quality and such.
I'd like to experiment using Alfalfa meal, chicken manure, and humic extracts. A product I started using in coco is Humisolve by BioAg it's 57% humic and 12% fulvic I use about 1gram per gal of water. In soil I think I'm going to apply 2 tbsp per gal or so. Fulvic acid increases N uptake incredibly at 140ppm N + 1gram/gal humisolve in coco I'm already looking to back off. With soil I have a nasty tendency to over apply N as it is. Labels are notoriously inaccurate with chicken manure (and basically every other bagged manure) they usually say something like 3%N and can be up to 17% N.
Anyone have any experience on applying N sources with humic extracts?
I was thinking of mixing up 1/4 cup Alfalfa per gal and calling it a day.
