I'm too high to answer that, so you could just suggest things. I'm very open minded.

Bong Water by Hornburg was alright.
1984 by Orwell is a favorite of mine.
Or anything by Franz Kafka is good

you should read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy series.
:zaphod:

Into the wild, Death of a salesman, and animal farm are all good as well.

Meditations - Marcus Aurelius

It was written by a Roman Emperor deeply rooted in philosophy. I read quite a lot and this was one of the most profound and deeply affecting books I've ever had the pleasure reading.

I can also second 1984 if you haven't read it.  Some of the books written by Stephen hawking, like brief history of time and the universe in a nutshell are also fascinating.

you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.  :twobooks:

Food of the Gods by Terence McKenna  :bow2:

The Psychedelic Experience by Tim Leary and others if you're into tripping. In my opinion it's a must-read for trippers

The Secret by Rhonda Bryne. Best, most useful  book i've ever read.

The Secret is only the best book i've ever read because it's benefiting my life to unlimited levels. Food of the Gods and The Psychedelic Experience are also my favourite books but for other genres

I was just telling someone how I thought "down and out in paris and London" was a far superior book.  And though the concepts are good, "1984" and "animal farm" are a bit dry.

I guess orwell is much like Huxley in that regard, where both are such talented writers, that they don't  need to retreat to the world of fiction to convey something entertaining and thoughtful.  And that they almost dampen their impact by doing so

start reading the 'Wheel of Time' series by Robert Jordan. you'll be set on books for a while - as long as you like action/adventure/fantasy.

but for starters i would say, in this order:
  • Animal Farm by George Orwell
  • A Brave New World by Alodus Huxely
  • The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien

Acidic, I heard the "wheel of time" series can drag, to like a ridiculous degree.  though, I'm generally not a fan of fantasy, always more into sci-fi.

1984 by George Orewell isn't a fun book. It's about living in mega tyranny. Worse than Nazi Germany. Interestingly, the book which was the first real 1984-style book is called Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Al sounded crazy to people back then but all his predictions have come true - and the worst is yet to come! Al only knew because the Huxley family was part of an "elite" group of families which rule the world. His brother or something was in charge of some of their dirty work and he told Al what goes down.

Don't read 1984. I'm sure it's fascinating n all. But when you understand how the world really works, and understand just how real it is, it just takes it to a whole new level of :feelsbadman:

Fortunalty i have a plan to be safe in the future and i have weed for now so i am :feelsgoodman:
