hi so i got some questions about growing uhm i got almost everything down gonna be using 4 100 watt cfls (420) equiv 2700k ill be growing hydroponically in a 30 gallon tote in a 6 ft tall 3 feet b 3 feet grow box i have a timer,tds/ph/temp meter, temp and humidity thermometer i am going to be using GH nutrients and coconut fibers as my medium and i also have a air pump and some stones uhm... i was wondering how many plants i could grow to full size on the tote my friend was telling me i could do 6 plants but would that be work? thanks friends i got more just gotta think of them! 
Edit: i also have 2 xbox fans spliced into 12v cords for intake and exhaust

I've never grown under cfl's but I think you will need more ventilation than that.
If starting with seed, plant as many plants as you can. Some will be male and you can pick the best looking females.IMO
You'll be addicted to growing before you know it.

yeah its all i can think about recently and i dont have enough money to start yet so it sucks bad  uhm and do i need a ec meter also or is the tds one good enough ? so could i like grow 6 plants on one tote in my box or should i only do like 2 or 3 after i get rid of the males or could i just plant more?

i got one of the digital ph meters from amazon and im gonna be getting a tds meter also

When that pH meter craps out. Go drops.
Just getting started into hydro myself.
A 2x2 flood and drain table and a EZ Cloner with a T5HO(432 watts) above.

ph kits in the swimming pool dept. is water is you grow medium then pick up PH paper sticks at the end of summer when pool sales are over. They discount it. They will work fine.
dont need to worry about batteries for a tester in an emergency either ..
