Hindu Kush under 2000 watt LED
    #477978 - 09/16/10 12:38 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Started the very basics of grow today. I bought three hindu kush clones and put them under 66watts of floro until tomorrow I am going several more plants. Plants right now are hindu kush

Plan:
15 HINDU KUSH BUDDING 15-16 inches (started OCT 6) + 15 RANDOM at 6-7 inches soon to be budding (starts OCT 10)

PINK COTTON CANDY- yes it's fucking pink! currently being mother planted along with JACK HERER and UK CHEESE

Here is the first $60 just so I can get started because if I don't, then I'll keep spending money on other things. Now I have to go through with it.

Temperature is 72-75 inside 45f outside- San Francisco

DAY 1 (clones look better in less light)

DAY 2

I got two more hindu kush clones today, plus another 200 watt/ 40 watt CFL so I am running 2 200/40 and 2 60/13 for these five plants.

Next purchase will be 400watt HPS and move CFL's into motherplant/clone closet + add 12 more clones (48 total but must be bought in sets of 12 for my 4 person collective...fuck San Francisco lame plant laws)

I also got a fan in the room to get circulation going better, gotta keep those stems strong

Sweet.  Maybe think about investing in a cabinet so that you can maximize your light.  Are you in a closet or something?  How do you plan to block out light during the flowering?  You are going to mess up your hardwood floor if you dont put them in something.  Nice towel from Target, I got the same one.

I have some mats I am going to put down, and that is only 1/5 of the closet. It's a HUGE walk in closet that will fit 75-100 plants but I am going to stick with 48.

When I switch to flowering I am going to run the light at 6am-6pm. It gets pretty dark by 5:00-5:30 plus the door to the closet shuts, and the light in my room is artificial so no light is going to get under the small crack in the door during dark hours with an artificial light (non UV).

When the lights are on the doors will be open because by the time the lights shut off it will be dark plus blinds won't get any light in. So I don't have any vent system set up but my closet opens up to my 24'x36' bed room on two sides so there should be tons of air in their circulating for those 12 hours with the fans I'll have.

Smell is going to be amazing in this apartment building. Guy above me is 25 and doesn't care, lady next to me is 68 and smokes weed, and the "manager" is a huge pot head.

UPDATE

I bought http://ledgrowking.com/ ; and got the one that pulls 600 watts and puts out 2000 wats

These pictures are a week old

Plants on 11/13 for 3 days and are about 3-4 inches bigger. I have 15 plants under right now and I am cloning Jack Herer, PINK cotton candy, and UK cheese. I will be putting another 15 plants at 6 inches under my 11/13 so they can bud and yield. I don't care if they yield small becuase the HINDU kush went 11/13 at 15-16 inches.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST LED GROW KING. $300 pulls 120watts and puts out 600watts. DAMN good. My plants are going crazy under these. FIRST GOOD LED'S I HAVE HAD.

I know because my friend put the company together after I bitched about how the first $1000 leds SUCKED.

I'll be paying attention to this one...Seems like a pretty legit LED setup to me. Props on the setup man. LEDs seem like they might be coming around, and quick!
