hi all i think this is where this would go but not shure.. i use 91% alcohol to clean my grinder screen every so often and i use a lil bit.. when im done and the cup sits for a couple min it looks like sand on the botton and looks like what u would get from a bubble bag. now alchol will evaporate clean right but i was wondering if it would affect the thc>? any thoughts on this >?

It's cool man you can smoke that. You basically soak part of your grinder in iso alc and then evaporate off the alc? That should produce some tasty smoke. Make sure all the alc has evaporated off first. You might want to consider mixing in some water (the other 9% of the 91% isoprop alc is water) after most of the alc has evaporated off just to make sure that all the alc is gone before you smoke. You can then heat it up to get all the rest of the water out.

lol course u let it evaporate completely i mean i dont want my pipe to explode. yea i soak the screens in a cup with just enough to cover them not much at all. i got it in the sun covered half way to prevent stuff from getting in. the other part of the question was will it affect the thc on whats left? im not a chemist tho so well see but i sill got a oz to go..

Im not sure exactly about the chem either but I know that the isoprop does not harm the THC. If anything it does the dehydration rxn to convert the THC-A into psychoactive THC (making it more potent) but im not sure. Why not smoke it and see?

yea so it was completely dry this morning and only to avail a lil sandy deposit so i scraped it and put it into a shot glass till i accumulate a pipe or so cous it wasn't a lot.. i had to clean my screen again cous it just gets so cruddy.. well the kids crying will let know when i get enough for a taster..

iso prop has a very low boiling point. so dont add water to it. you can just boil what you have. and when it looks oily at the bottom of the pot. scrape that out. thats relatively most THC.

Do not boil it. Let it evaporate at room temp or heat it a little. Second, you should add some water to it to ensure that all the isoprop evaporates and does not leave a terrible taste and cause various health problems.

well what im saying is. if you boil it. only the iso will evaporate. if you do it right. it has the lowest boiling point of the three ingredients in the pot. then you have THC and H2O in the pot. and you boil the water off last.

the iso will be the first to go if you boil it. so no residue or taste or anything. boiling it would be the best way if you want all the iso out of it. just sayin.
