Can you switch a plant that has been grown in hydroponics over to soil? Will it damage or shock the plant to the point where its not even worth it to change over? I have a really plant that a shroomerite gave me but have no hydro set up. I know its cheap and easy to make a single hydro set up but can it be switched?
The long answer is, There are risks involved such as the one's you mentioned, the easiest transfer would be hydro-to-soil and not the opposite, in my opinion.
Get yourself some good soil and transplant that sucker. Be careful with the roots, exposure to light and air may damage roots but for the most part you should be fine. Treat your plant with care and she/he will reward.
Good Luck
