Does anyone know if you can order them online or if they even make it to you alive? I was wanting them in my garden since I started growing just in case of a mite or knat problem. I heard that these are good in your garden and just wanted to know some peoples opinion on this.
I used to have them in my garden but I am super careful now about bugs, they work pretty well but they will die if no pests are present because they have no food.
Yes, there are plenty of places to order ladybugs online. Like TheJew said though, I wouldn't order any until you have a problem. Without food not only will they die but they'll try their damnedest to migrate out of your garden.
If you do develop a problem and it happens to be in the summer, hit me up and I'll send you as many as you need. I happen to work on a farm and there is a common weed that ladybugs love to congregate on.
