Question on cloning.

I was reading http://www.growery.org/2982/Cloning ;
from the FAQ and it recommends a spray bottle with a dilution of flowering fertilizer.

Just curious for the reasoning behind this. Also how dilute should it be?

If you have an aerocloner, just add three drops of superthrive per quart of water and ph to 5.8. I've had 100% success since I started using this method two years ago.
