Just harvested and need help storing!
    #237003 - 06/06/09 06:37 PM (14 years, 9 months ago)

I just harvested 3 ounces from my plants and I dried it out in the refrigerator because it was the only place that was cool enough and humid enough. I am not sure where to store it or if it is dry enough. I am worried about it getting moldy.

Right now I am storing it in a mason jar with a desiccant pack. Will the desiccant pack dry it out completely? I want to be able to store it for a long time without it getting too dry because there is no way I am going to smoke 3oz  before it dries out.

How can I tell if it is dry enough? I need help because I don't want my maryjane going bad!!

Take out the desiccant. You need to cure the buds. Just take the lid off the jar 2-3 times per day, fan it with you hand for a couple of minutes, rotate buds, and thats it. Takes two weeks tops if you dried it right IME.

Thanks! What are the chances of them getting moldy? It is 95 degrees in my apt so I don't want them to dry out so fast which is why i was drying them in the fridge.
