Happy mothers make happy clones. I made the same mistake last time I tried my hand at cloning; I usually see roots in ~6-8 days, this time it took 3 weeks to see roots. When they did finally show, the clones were in shit shape and way behind on my normal time-line. You can still clone them but the clones won't be in the best shape.
