no pics yet but I foudn out he also crossed his male big bud with a female white widow. The plants looked similar so I didnt notice. The White widow Big bud hybrid doesnt look as potent as the big bud bubblegum cross.
out of the four WWBB seeds he planted he managed two females, one male and one herm.
does anyone know what makes a herm such a good plant, or not a good plant at all? I read in most places that they are useless, but I wonder if the weed tastes or has a different effect due to its Male/female genes.
I understand that a lot of energy goes into the seeds, and takes away from the actual thc potency, but cant that all be avoided by picking the buds before the flowers actually bloom?

Well, I don't think very many people would have grown out to full maturity a true hermie, but the reason they are avoided is because they will possibly pollinate themselves, as well as all the other plants in the room. Like you mentioned, they will then focus on seed production, which means you're going to get much less yield and a hell of a time separating all of the seeds from what you do get. I couldn't say for sure, but I really couldn't imagine that the bud would be any better.

they just seem stretched a bit. internode space is the distance between the nodes, where each set of leaves branches from the main stem.

I wonder if that can be due to the light being up so high and the plant having to Reach for light. I dont know though i'll see if the dude knows. could just be the strain.

I believe the internode spacing is due to the fact that the plants are sativa mainly.
