What say you gentlefolk of the plant to yonder homemade aeroponics setup:

Would this work well for weed? I heard aeroponic systems get faster growth then hydroponic systems, how's the end yield though? Has anyone done this before? Would any modifications have to be made to this system to make it more weed specific?

That all looks good man. I myself have never tryed aeroponics; but I ve heard u have be careful with ur nutr. mix, my hydro shop said it is easy to burn the roots if ur not careful. I heard they grow a little faster with a better yield. Wish u luck I dont see any problems with that.

Hmm i doubt it would deliver a dense fog of nutrient like a true aeroponics would. Although most of the aeroponics systems sold in hydro shops are cheap imitations in my opinion.
If i was u I'd spend a few grand on a proper one, Or look into bubble buckets AKA oxy pots. I use the bubble buckets and highly recommend them.
There cheap to build easy to maintain and the plants grow so fast its unbelievable.

Hmm I like it but I would use vinyl fence posts. They are square and more manageable.
I have tried drip, aeroponic (mist not fog), and dwc. In my opinion DWC is the best overall when you weigh in cost,labor,maintenance, and yield.

agreed, a good aeroponics system will cost you some cash to start up. you probably will be better off getting something cheaper especially if you're just starting out.
